Blog

I am going to Africa in 2 weeks. I will be there for 2 months. I have a blog for my trip. You should read it. I'm super excited about it. I'll be updating that blog more often than this one.
This is the addy: http://hannahheartsafrica.blogspot.com/

Let me know what you think.

Two questions:
1. Does anyone out there teach middle school?
2. Can you tell me how to do it?

SWEET SIXTEEN!!!!
I'm not trying to brag, but I did travel WITH the team. I did travel on Vanderbilt's account. I did sit on the court for both games. I did make it onto national TV with plenty of exposure. And lastly, I AM going to New Jersey this weekend.
It is GOOD TO BE GOLD!!!

I broke my toe last night. It is an interesting thing to not be able to do anything to fix it.

I log into xanga everyday, yet I only post stupid posts... This one will be different.

This summer I am going to Africa for 10 weeks to be a sex ed teacher through the True Love Waits program in efforts to curb the spread of AIDS in this country. I have my issues with the TLW program, but I am very excited to take it and make it fit the girls I am going to be in direct contact with. I leave May 20th and get back July 20th. For those this effects, I am sorry. It means I am missing the DeBoard/Furman wedding, the Mashburn/Blocker wedding, the Bowers/Rickert wedding, the Fowler/Waldrop wedding and the Dyess/Dockery wedding. I will be back just in time for the very intimate Brankatelli/Bouldin wedding. I am very excited about this fact.

I will turn 22 in Africa.

I have never traveled. (I've been out of the south for a total of 4 weeks in my entire life. All in small increments) What advice do you have for a new world traveler??
